  • THE BEAD LADY
    April 8 7:00pm
    Kathy Shomo, author of the book Anyone Can Bead, will be here to teach a class on beading. Everyone will go home with a beaded bookmark and lots of information on how to make other creative projects. The class is free.

  • CAFE WESTERN ALLEGHENY
    • April 10 6:00 - 7:30pm
    Who needs Starbucks when we have our own coffeehouse? Doodle artworks and poetry on the tablecloths. Read a favorite poem or one you've written. Share the limelight with others in a little improv a la Whose Line.Munch of cookies and biscotti while sipping on your favorite beverage. (FOR TEENS)

    Join us in welcoming Tim Madigan, author I'M PROUD OF YOU, this year's selection for the county wide One Book One Community, program. Mr. Madigan will be speaking at Pittsburgh Technical Institute (PTI) on April 14 at 7:00pm The program is sponsored by the Allegheny West Region Libraries. A dessert reception will follow.
